History
Recalling back in 1956, the founder of our restaurant, Mr. Lim, began our business of selling Koay Teow Soup in Butterworth. Due to small population and inconvenient transport, Mr. Lim used the tricycles to run our business by cycling around the neighborhood. With the rapid growth of our business, Mr. Lim decided to expand our business by setting up a store and named it as “Lin Restaurant” in 1970.
As the local area was named as “Seven Village”, people usually addressed us as “Seven Village Noodle House ”. With our dedication in food quality, we turned out to be an eminent brand of Koay Teow Soup in Penang area. 18 years later, with the rise of popularity of Seven Village Noodle House, we expanded our premise to a shop lot in Raja Uda.
In 2007, thanks to the dynamic cooperation from various parties, we were proud to renovate our restaurant with a brand-new design concept, as well as setting up an air-conditioned environment to provide a conducive dining environment for our valued customers. Besides, we also operated our business with computerized system to enhance our efficiency while increasing customers’ satisfaction.
Two years later, with Seven Village’s strong foundation in management and food quality, we brought our brand to a greater height by having our very first branch in Bukit Tengah. Seven Village’s successful story did not stop here. We further developed our business to several locations in Penang.
Nowadays, Seven Village’s loyal customers can taste our scrumptious Koay Teow Soup in most of the places on the mainland as well as in the Penang Island. Seven Village is devoted to provide our customers with a superb dining experience in either of our premise in Bukit Tengah, Nibong Tebal, Abu Siti Lane, Alma Bukit Mertajam and Pulau Tikus.
Now, Seven Village is enthusiastic to bring our Chinese traditional gourmet, which is also the pride of Penang to a greater stage by working strenuously to franchise our business to the entire Malaysia.
In order to augment our customers’ dining experience, we innovated by offering variety of side dishes which are perfectly appropriate while eating with Koay Teow soup. Delicious delicacies, excellent service and pleasant environment are our promise to our customers. With Seven Village’s substantial commitment in taste, service and environment, “Seven Village Noodle House” is undoubtedly the symbol of Koay Teow Soup.
